On 3 April, the GRFC will join the Regional Forum 2025 on Sustainable Development for the UNECE Region. The theme of the Forum is: “Advancing Sustainable, Inclusive, Science- and Evidence-based Solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its SDGs in the ECE region, Leaving no one Behind.”
The GRFC and the co-organizers bring years of collaborative experience to a round table side event. The discussants possess deep expertise in fostering multi-stakeholder, multi-sector, and multi-disciplinary partnerships. They understand the complexities of governance and management across diverse contexts and have a nuanced awareness of the impacts—both positive and negative—of rapid digitalization and the crucial ‘human factor’.
They will focus attention on next-generation, financially viable Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to prototype a systems-based approach to rehabilitation and reconstruction in Ukraine.
Drawing from extensive experience in Europe and beyond, the discussants will share compelling examples of integrative and harmonizing (nature-based) solutions. These solutions aim to restore landscapes, laying the essential groundwork for sustainable and equitable economic growth and long-lasting peace-building.
